Probably, thanks to the age of modern technology and the active development of technology, even children now know how to use household appliances. However, often, without even knowing it, people can harm their equipment by improper handling.
Small things can really harm household appliances, which are now quite expensive, and repairs sometimes cost several times more than buying a new one, so you should take good care of it, and it will pay off with a long service life.
How do home appliances suffer from human hands?
- Washing machine too full. Of course, who doesn’t like the idea of loading more things into the drum of the washing machine and going to rest with peace of mind. In fact, this should never be done, since a heavy drum load creates a strong load on the internal bearings, due to which the entire mechanism may sooner or later fail. When washing, it is better to leave at least 10% of free space so that the process goes smoothly, and things are better washed.
- Washing the plate with improvised means. People rarely pay attention to warnings and labels on packages.Quite often there are situations when housewives, when washing the stove, use detergents for tiles, washing dishes or soot and grease, putting it all on a hard grater. It should be remembered that such a separation of detergents is not accidental, because the detergent can harm the surface of the stove, because of which the bottom of pots and pans will then deteriorate, and dirt and food will clog into scratches and damage. Therefore, you should use only the tool that is suitable for a particular type of plate.
- Freezer filled with semi-finished products. There is an opinion that if the freezer contains as many products as possible, this will allow it to freeze them faster and work more efficiently. There is confirmation of this, this is really a fact, but in this way the life of the freezer will be significantly reduced due to violations of the ventilation holes, which will lead to compressor failure.
- Forgotten things in pockets. How many times the poor washing machine screeched from the fact that things got into it, in the pockets of which were small change, metro tokens, keys, and even mobile phones. Of course, nothing terrible will happen once, but it is worth remembering that even the smallest coin or a small hairpin can clog one of the valves or drain holes, and the washing machine will have to be sent for repair. Therefore, it is better to carefully double-check the pockets before washing.
- Accumulated fat on the bottom of the oven. It is often difficult to protect the walls and bottom of the oven from getting fat on them, even if the dish is cooked in a special sleeve or foil, film. However, it is worth remembering that you must immediately remove the remaining fat after the oven has cooled down, otherwise the accumulation of this fat can lead to breakage of the heating element and even fire.
