Hotpoint-Ariston ARTL 104 review
The Hotpoint-Ariston ARTL 104 vertical washing machine is a model with classic characteristics - a capacity for 5 kilograms of laundry and a spin of 1000 revolutions. Its main advantage is the compactness inherent in all vertical machines. In this model, the width is only 40 cm. The machine washes any dirt well and does an excellent job of spinning. The spin speed is adjustable, for which a corresponding knob is provided. The level of vibrations in all modes is almost zero, especially, set the machine according to the level, and not “by eye”.
There are not so many controls on the panel of the machine. Here you can find the program selection knob, the washing temperature selection knob, the spin speed selection knob and several buttons for activating additional options. Information about the current washing phase is displayed using LEDs. Even a child will be able to cope with the controls, but you will need to get used to the digital designation of programs.
As for the set of programs, its composition is quite large - there are as many as 12 of them, with additional options.Of the special programs, the most interesting are the children's wash program, the antibacterial wash, the shirt wash and the express wash (its duration is only 15 minutes).The operation of the machine does not cause any problems - after laying the laundry, you need to select the desired washing mode and press the start button.
This model is designed for owners of small bathrooms where a front-loading machine will not fit. As for spaciousness, it is quite enough for a family of 3-4 people. The washing machine does a good job with washing large programs. She has only one drawback - the lack of pre-soaking, but the quality of washing does not suffer from this.

Special programs
- Antibacterial cycle (program 7) - A high temperature disinfection program that uses bleach at temperatures above 60°C. For bleaching, pour bleach, detergent and additives into the appropriate compartments.
- Night cycle (program 8) - It is a silent cycle that can be turned on at night, saving electricity. This program is designed for washing synthetic and cotton items. At the end of the wash, the machine stops with water in the drum; to drain and spin, press the START/PAUSE button, otherwise, after 8 hours, the machine will automatically drain and spin.
- Baby underwear (program 9) - The program removes typical soiling of children's clothing, guaranteeing the removal of detergent from the fabric in order to avoid allergies of sensitive children's skin. This cycle is designed to reduce the number of bacteria by using more water and optimizing the effect of special disinfectant detergent additives.
- Mix 30′ (program 5) — It is intended for fast washing of lightly soiled linen. The cycle lasts only 30 minutes, which saves time and energy. With this program (5, 30°C) you can wash laundry made of different fabrics (excluding wool and silk) together with a maximum load of 3 kg.
- Mix 15′ (program 6) — It is intended for fast washing of lightly soiled linen. The cycle lasts only 15 minutes, which saves time and energy. With this program (6, 30°C) you can wash mixed fabrics (excluding wool and silk) together with a maximum load of 1.5 kg.
