The desire for perfection is characteristic of many people. We want the music center to give us high-quality sound, the TV to show a clear and contrasting picture, and the washing machine to give perfectly clean linen so that we do not have to wash again. The efficiency of washing directly depends on the class of the apparatus. What does the washing class mean in a washing machine?
On each washing machine displayed in the store window, we can see special stickers that indicate the washing efficiency class, spin class and energy class. Here, a foreign evaluation system is adopted in Latin letters, and not in points. That is, the maximum rating is denoted by the letter A. As for the classes A +, A ++ and A +++, these are already new class designations, as progress does not stand still, and washing machines are becoming more efficient.
What is the washing class in the washing machine
In order to determine the washing efficiency classes of automatic washing machines, the developers have created a special standard for the cleanliness of linen. What is this standard and how was it created? As a basis, a piece of fabric stained in a certain way and with a certain pollutant was taken.
Further, this piece of fabric was washed in a certain reference washing machine, with a certain amount of a certain washing powder, on a reference program, for one hour and at a temperature of +60 degrees. As a result, a reference result was obtained, with which a comparison is made. To eliminate the human factor and bias, the analysis is carried out by machine.
Subsequently, a special table was deduced showing the class of washing efficiency. According to this table, certain classes are assigned to washing machines. The cleaner the machine washes during the execution of the reference program, the higher its efficiency.
This standard was created about 20 years ago, but since then progress has stepped far forward, and washing machines have even pulled ahead of the created standard. In this regard, new washing classes A +, A ++ and A +++ were born.
Which washing class is better to choose
Many users may ask a completely logical question - what class of washing in washing machines is better? And you can quite logically answer - the higher the better. A washing machine with an A ++ washing class will wash better than a C class. But there are practically no so many low-class machines on the market - most of the presented models have class A and above. A lower washing class in most cases only small type washing machines, for example, at washing machine Fairy 2 washing class - F.
Which class to choose - A or A +++? As practice shows, in most cases it is impossible to see a visual difference between two neighboring classes. Why is that? Yes, because the standard is standard:
- A certain amount of fabric;
- A certain amount of a certain powder;
- certain type of pollution.
What about in practice?
- The amount of laundry varies widely;
- A variety of fabrics are washed in the machine, sometimes in a mixed mode;
- A variety of types of pollutants;
- different temperatures;
- Different types of washing powders and bleaches;
- Heaps of programs and additional options.
When choosing a washing machine and considering the classes, we can only give one piece of advice - do not buy washing machines with washing efficiency class B and below. The minimum acceptable option is class A. It can also be said that in many cases the highest class is nothing more than a manifestation of marketing.

Where is this testing done? Can I order an examination of the washing class myself and who can do it? Why does a fairy with washing class C laundry soap wash better than indesit with washing class A?
Is serving things in the tank of the machine better than in activators?! You are serious.
