Here, a foreign evaluation system is adopted in Latin letters, and not in points. That is, the maximum rating is denoted by the letter A. As for the classes A +, A ++ and A +++, these are already new class designations, as progress does not stand still, and washing machines are becoming more efficient.

In order to determine the washing efficiency classes of automatic washing machines, the developers have created a special standard for the cleanliness of linen. What is this standard and how was it created? As a basis, a piece of fabric stained in a certain way and with a certain pollutant was taken.

Further, this piece of fabric was washed in a certain reference washing machine, with a certain amount of a certain washing powder, on a reference program, for one hour and at a temperature of +60 degrees. Subsequently, a special table was deduced showing the class of washing efficiency. According to this table, certain classes are assigned to washing machines. The cleaner the machine washes during the execution of the reference program, the higher its efficiency.

This standard was created about 20 years ago, but since then progress has stepped far forward, and washing machines have even pulled ahead of the created standard. In this regard, new washing classes A +, A ++ and A +++ were born.
