After cleaning with onions, the cap needs to be weathered for a couple of days, as there will be a slight specific smell.
- You can clean the skin with a solution of ordinary ammonia. To prepare the solution, take a tablespoon of ammonia and a glass of water. The resulting composition is moistened with a soft cloth and the cap is gently cleaned.
- To clean dark baseball caps and caps made of leather, you can use coffee grounds. To do this, it is placed in a couple of layers of gauze, and then the surface of the leather cap is wiped. Do not use coffee on baseball caps made of light leather. For this purpose, a mixture of egg white with milk is suitable.
Caps made of thin suede can be gently washed by hand in a cool soapy solution. After rinsing, such a headdress must be blotted with a soft cotton cloth, and then liberally lubricated with pharmaceutical glycerin.
Drying rules
In order for the shape of the cap to remain original, it must be dried properly. Regardless of what fibers a baseball cap is made from, it should not be twisted or wrung out after washing. The cap is left for a few minutes in the bathroom to drain the water, and then the excess moisture is blotted with a soft cotton towel.
