Equipment is a complex of various mechanisms involved in the process of manufacturing goods or providing the necessary impact on the object of labor. It happens industrial and domestic.
There are four main categories of industrial equipment:
- transporting - providing transportation of a particular cargo (for example, cranes);
- engines (all types of motors, as well as compressors, pumps, hydraulic turbines and other mechanisms for power purposes);
- machine tools (i.e., processing or machine tools) - necessary for harvesting operations (for example, grinding, presses, etc.);
- technological apparatus - a type of operating equipment with maximum automation (conveyor belts, foundry auto-mechanisms, etc.).
Is it necessary to follow the procedure equipment certification? Yes.
According to the current TR CU for equipment (both industrial and household), a certificate or declaration is mandatory issued.
List of devices for which the certificate is issued
The main regulation, according to which a certificate of conformity is issued for the following equipment, is TR CU 010/2011.It is subject to:
— snowmobiles and snow and swamp vehicles (including trailers);
— machines for wood processing;
— devices for trailers (garage);
— agricultural machines;
— technological mechanisms in forestry;
- pneumatic tool;
— clearing combines;
— and other devices (the full list is specified in the Decision of the EEC Board No. 6).
Also, the list of goods under TR CU 010/2011 indicates the devices for which the declaration is registered (from 01/01/2021, the declaration procedure is carried out by the applicant independently on the FSA website). In some cases, at the request of the applicant, the declaration procedure can be replaced by certification.
If we are talking about household equipment, then according to TR CU 004/2011, mandatory certification is carried out in relation to the following devices:
- for cooking (stoves, ovens, blenders, microwaves, etc.);
- for cleaning and washing (vacuum cleaners, washing machines and dryers);
— refrigeration and freezing equipment;
— for air conditioning and cooling;
- electric heaters and others.
Also, a certificate is mandatory issued for devices in accordance with TR TS:
- 012/2011 - devices operating in explosive environments;
- 016/2011 - gas-using devices (boilers, vessels and other installations);
- 032/2012 - for equipment operating under excessive pressure (devices for boiler rooms, automation equipment, etc.).
fines
If goods are sold without a certificate or declaration, then admin. liability in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Art. 14.43-14/45) involves the withdrawal of goods from circulation, large amounts of fines (they can reach 600 thousand rubles).
Mandatory certification procedure
You can get a certificate with the assistance of specialists from the certification body.
For the procedure, the applicant provides samples and documents, in particular, scans of PSRN / TIN, technical documentation are attached to the application, information about the goods is indicated.
Next is:
- verification of the submitted documents:
- coordination of layouts;
- registration of the application;
– field production expertise (for serial production);
- drawing up an act of analysis;
- provision of samples;
– testing of samples (according to the results, a protocol is issued);
– registration of a document for 1, 3 or 5 years
In the process of laboratory testing, parameters such as mechanical strength, vibration resistance, moisture resistance of the case and others are determined.
Also, the applicant can undergo voluntary certification within the framework of any VTS (the possibility of such an assessment is indicated in the Federal Law of the Russian Federation No. 184).
The presence of a voluntary certificate increases the competitive position of the company when participating in auctions, tenders for the supply of products, etc.
