How to wash a jacket in a washing machine

Before washing, carefully pack the product in a protective bag for washing.

How to wash a jacket by hand

- Hang the jacket on a coat hanger, carefully inspect and walk through especially easily soiled places.
- To clean greasy areas, dilute 200 ml of water with 1 tbsp. ammonia. Dampen the brush and go over the fabric.
- Leave to dry on a hanger.
Heavy pollution is reduced with the help of specialized chemicals and stain removers. Before experimenting, determine the type of fabric and its compatibility with the cleaning agent.
"Shower" therapy
For deeper cleaning, the “shower” method is suitable. Clean visible dirt and greasy areas as described above., only then proceed to the total wash.
- If necessary, clean the cloth from dust. Place on hanger and wet under warm shower.
- Dilute powder or liquid detergent in water. Treat contaminated areas with a brush dipped in solution.
- Use the shower to rinse out the jacket. Hang the product over the bathtub and let the liquid drain.
- Blot excess moisture with a towel and hang to dry in a well-ventilated area.
Drying and ironing the jacket
The jacket is dried only in a vertical position on the shoulders. First, it is worth straightening all the bumps and folds, stretching the fabric (not wet, but slightly damp). Iron only when needed. Without waiting for complete drying, it is worth starting steaming. Preheat the iron and prepare a thin cloth or gauze in several layers.
Follow the manufacturer's temperature recommendations and iron problem areas and seams. It is advisable to turn on additional steam or humidification. After ironing, hang the jacket on a coat hanger until it cools completely.
